The 47th annual daytime emmy awards

The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards opened their entry process on October 29, 2017!

Last year was an exciting year for Gemelli Films. We had 33 submissions over 26 categories for our series, "New Dogs, Old Tricks." We aren't sure if "New Dogs, Old Tricks" is going to qualify this year, because we are in talks with a couple of networks and streaming services to carry the series. (WOOO!) This means that the entire first season of NDOT will air on its new home, and we won't be able to release the second season until the broadcaster decides to do so. Don't worry-- We're on top of everything!

We are about to release another series, "Little Cupid." This series is what is called a short-form series, with episodes running between 7 - 10 minutes each. The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards has a category called "OUTSTANDING SPECIAL CLASS - SHORT FORMAT DAYTIME PROGRAM." As per the Emmy website, "This category is open to original Short Format Daytime programming of any genre that is targeted for viewers ages 12 and over, including Specials and Series, with a running time of approximately 15 minutes or less."

Guess what? "Little Cupid" falls into that category. Our editors are diligently working at getting the episodes done, and we have a few streaming services interested in releasing it. We anticipate releasing the first episode right around Thanksgiving. This, of course, means that we meet all of the requirements to submit!

The rules for the Short Format Daytime Program are a little confusing, and we need to get clarification for a few things. In the meantime, please see below for the people and categories that you can sponsor. Thank you!

For Season 1, Episode 1 of "Little Cupid,"  entitled "Daddy's Angel," you can sponsor:
