The 47th annual daytime emmy awards
The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards opened their entry process on October 29, 2019!
Last year was an exciting year for Gemelli Films. We had 33 submissions over 26 categories for our series, "New Dogs, Old Tricks." Unfortunately, NDOT doesn't qualify this year, because we are in talks with a couple of networks and streaming services to carry the series. (WOOO!) This means that the entire first season of NDOT will air on its new home, and we won't be able to release the second season until the broadcaster decides to do so. Don't worry-- We're on top of everything!
We just released another series, "Little Cupid." This series is what is called a short-form series, with episodes running between 7 - 10 minutes each. The 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards has a category called "OUTSTANDING SPECIAL CLASS - SHORT FORMAT DAYTIME PROGRAM." As per the Emmy website, "This category is open to original Short Format Daytime programming of any genre that is targeted for viewers ages 12 and over, including Specials and Series, with a running time of approximately 15 minutes or less."
Guess what? "Little Cupid" falls into that category. Our first episode was released on Amazon, which you can watch HERE. Do you have an Android phone? Experience the "Little Cupid Show" augmented reality interactive app, AVAILABLE HERE! Please check out the different categories that you can sponsor. Big thanks to those that have already sponsored one of our entries!
